Third House Bill No_______

Mr. ____________ introduced the following bill

A. Bill
For an act pertaining to newspaper Reporters and printers.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the third House of the State of South Dakota:

Sec.1. That it shall be unlawful for any Reporter, Edition Printer or for any-one connected as interested in the newspaper business to print or cause to be printed anything relating to clerks or employees of the South Dakota Legislature other than compliments and taffy.

Sec 2. No State Historical Bill Shall be presented to the Legislature before said bill shall have been published in a country news-paper not less than six successive times prior to its introduction to the Legislature.

Sec. 3 Any person Violating any of the provisions of this act shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished regardless of conviction by a fine of not less than ($500) nor more than ($1000) or shall be confined in the State Asylum at Yankton for a period of three (3) years at hard labor or with fine and imprisonment as the court may direct. 

Sec. 4. An Emergency is hereby declared and this act shall go into effect and be in force immediately upon it's passage regardless of approval.
