YESTERDAY AND TOMORROW

Today is yesterday's tomorrow
And no matter what we say 
The sun don't shine tomorrow
It always shines today 
We let the tree lie where it falls
And chips drop where they may 
But we'll never see tomorrow 
Or bring back yesterday.
Yesterday's thoughts are in the past
To cherish or regret 
Tomorrow's hopes and wishes
Have not matured yet 
So when a blazing sun rise
Turns the east to gold from gray 
You'll find we have loss worries
If we live from day to day.
