CHRISTMAS LIGHTS IN THE STREET

It's Christmas time in the village,
The little folks eyes are aglow.
With sparkling trees and toys, Holly and mistletoe.
Through the joyous hurry and scurry,
Church bells chime clear and sweet.
The snow flakes dance like fairies,
On the Christmas lights in the street.
We see all the homes around us,
With lights burning dim and low.
Christmas trees and greetings,
That are shining from each window.
We hear the voices of children,
Singing carols loud and sweet.
Mingled shouts and laughter,
With the Christmas lights in the street.
Oh the Christmas lights in the street,
Oh the Christmas lights in the street.
The visions of dear old Santa Claus,
And his reindeers prancing feet.
The whole town smiles in contentment,
Robed in it's snow white sheet,
Whispers a Merry Christmas to the
Christmas Lights in the Street.
