I BUSTED A WINDOW TO-DAY

I was out shooting my sling shot,
And I busted a window to-day. 
Don't know whether to face it,
Or whether to run away. 
If I sneak through the alley,
There might be the devil to pay. 
Wish it hadn't of happened,
I didn't mean to be bad. 
Guess tho I better face it,
I think I will go and tell Dad. 
He may give me a licking, 
Or take my allowance away. 
But I believe I'd better go tell him,
That I busted a window to-day.

I think I know what he'll say.
