OKOBOJO
(excerpt)
By Willis Green circa 1925
There's an old dance hall at the foot of the hill
Where people go for a lot of thrills.
They gather in from near and far
To the strummin’ tunes of the steel
guitar.
It's the best dance hall in all the land,
With it's hardwood floor and a cowboy
band.
A fiddle guitar and an old banjo,
And they dance all night at Okobojo.
